This is what happens when you continue to type on a single line word after word never ending sentence without an end that never stops until you get to the next line.  Result - Single spaced lines

This is what happens when you end a sentence and hit return.

You end up with a double spaced line.

So when you have a number of lines like below you can't get them single spaced without creating one long line and adding a line break after each item.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS PER ELECTION CODE:

Election Code - Chapter 141 - Candidacy for Public Office (Section 141.001)

  • be a United States citizen;
  • be 18 years of age or older on the first day of the term to be filled at the election or on the date of appointment, as applicable;
  • have not to have been determined by a final judgement of a court exercising probate jurisdiction to be:
